           Dispersing Impact Modifier for Polyolefin Polymers CYD 6100

Description

CYD-6100 is a new kind of impact modifier with dispersingperformance for polyolefin polymers, the special dendritic structure isdesigned by CYD company. Be different from the traditionalimpact modifiers, CYD-6100 can apparently improve the mechanicalproperty of polyolefin polymers, meanwhile, it can increase the melt fluidityproperty, which have been successfully applied in pipes, automobile parts, instrumentshells and plastic furniture, etc.

 

The main application:

1)  Replace the POE,significantly increase the impact strength of modified PP with high content fillers.Under same dosage, the product impact strength can be higher increased by20-80% than the POE. CYD-6100 have been successfully applied in the productionof automobile bumpers and plastic furniture, etc.
2)  Excellentdispersion and processing performance.On equal impact strength level, theCYD-6100 formula ’s melting index is 50% higher than the POE formula.
3)  CYD-6100 isespecially suitable for modified PP with high content fillers. CYD-6100can realize the same impact strength with lowerdosage than POE.  Also it can help to addmore fillers in the formulation because of the excellent compatibilization property.

Chart shows:
1) CYD – 6100 can improve the impact strength by 24-370% compared with the same dosage of POE; With 20% CYD – 6100 ,tensile sample didn’t fracture , while with 20% other brand POE, the tensilesamples completely fractured;
2) 20% POE E formula's impact strength is the highest in five kinds of POEformula, however, its impact strength just can reach 80% of the 20% CYD – 6100 formula, while its melt index just reach 44% of CYD - 6100;
3) Even if to reduce the dosage of CYD - 6100 to 15%,  the impact resistance and melting performanceis much more better than most of other impact modifiers on the market. It iswell known that less impact modifier dosage will bring lower cost and moreprofit for clients.

Note:

1.CYD-6100 is not only limited to high filler content PP system, in otherpolyolefin polymer system, it also acts well , customers can adjust the dosageand formula according to their actual experiments.

2. Withexcellent dispersing and fluidity performance, CYD-6100 can greatly increasethe talcum powder filler’s percentage in the PP formula system.

3.CYD-6100 can completely replace traditional POE materials, and improve bothimpact strength and the melt index.
